Sort of. You can move 12 hexes (24 meters) in a phase. A phase is not necessarily a second - a segment is one second. It takes one segment (one second) to execute a phase worth of action, but unless your SPD is twelve you are not moving every segment.

The length of your phase is determined by your SPD. (12 / SPD = number of seconds a phase is for your character).

If your goal is to determine you velocity, you'll do much better to think in terms of how many hexes (or meters) you move in a turn, as a turn is a fixed length of time (twelve seconds). This would be your Move * SPD.

Somewhere along the way I aquired an interpeter... I wonder if I had to pay points for it or if it's a disad?

If it only shows up once, we'll chalk it up to special effects. Fair?

I'm glad steph got her answer up front - we appear to have derailed her thread quite nicely.

Actually, I believe Steph is a man. But I don't know for sure (that's the problem with different languages + the internet).
