Sweet! And -- you've played the same character for a decade? Congrats on the longevity.

You know, I like that. I like that a lot.
I'd be tempted to chalk it up to a metaphysical "Spirit of Mexico" but with a twist. The bigger a Luchadore's fan base, the greater effect and resistance against extraordinary foes.

Before I read this thread, I wasn't going to buy this book. Now I'm back on the fence (which means I'll probably talk myself into it).

If Lucha Libre is Free Holds or No Holds Barred or Free For All, is Mucha Lucha then Many Holds or No Bone Breakers or Keep It Clean Out There You Neanderthals?

This link should explain lucha libre as it pertains to the wrestling aspect of it. If the link works, here's hoping.

"Lucha" just means "fighting," so "Mucha Lucha" is a grammatically-incorrect of saying "Lots of fighting." dw

Thanks for answereing my (somewhat facetious) question. You know ,I have never seen a REAL "masked mexican wrestler" movie. THe only one that I THOUGHT was going to be like that turned out to be a movie about a journalist investigating what had happened to a retired wrestler and had very little action.

I can see it now. Don Pulque, agave farmer and a Luchador who can drink a barrel of Tequila and still dance with the sweet senoritas.

WWF is an entertainment style that takes place in a wrestling ring solely. The only plot is a wrestling match. Luchadores fight vampires and robots and crazed midgets.

Dangit, Secret Master, help out and explain this better.
