Question No Range Modifier vs LOS Followup

Still not sure what is intended. The LOS rules refered to on 5E pge 78 provide rules for attacking targets of which you are not precicely sure of the location. I don't see that as being any different or disadvantageous over any other attack power.

Is there something about the LOS advantage that is different than described on 5E pge 78.

    Thanks again.

The rules you cite are optional, and even if used impose significant restrictions on PCs. Many GMs don't use them, so they're not worth considering for these purposes.
