"I've had a hell of a lot of fun and I've enjoyed every minute of it." --Errol Flynn, d. October 14, 1959
Yeah, the Order has made its rounds before, but thats OK...
We still love 'em.
There are stories of faeries and banshees and the walking dead; but "the worst of them all," is the Fool of Forth, the Amadan-na-Briona, he whose stroke is, as death, incurable.
As to the fool in this world, the pity for him is mingled with some awe, for who knows what windows may have been opened to those who are under the moon's spell, who do not give in to our limitations, are not "bound by reason to the wheel."
Lady Gregory
"Visions and Beliefs in the West of Ireland"
Having made the rounds through here or not, I've never seen that before. Funny stuff!
"Is there a hero somewhere, someone who appears and saves the day
Someone who holds out a hand and turns back time"
- Poets of the Fall, Locking up the Sun
Great series. Worth buying the books, which is high praise.
OoTS is fantastic.
It's been quite a while since I've read it though. I need to go back in the archives sometime and read.
"When life hands you lemons, screw making lemondae. Throw the lemons at the mean people. It's a lot more fun that way."
Weird. I just ran across the strip a couple of weeks ago.Over a dozen of them have made me laugh out loud! Really love it.
Met the guy at GenCon last year, had him sign my book. He's a funny funny , busy busy man.
"See it's not that the Democrats are playing checkers and the Republicans are playing chess, it's that the Republicans are playing chess and the Democrats are in the nurse's office because once again they glued their balls to their thighs." - Jon Stewart

OotS is one of the comics I read religiously now.
Favorite line:
"Hey, look, I just regenerated a finger. Guess which one." (#191)
SteveZilla
"In this present crisis, government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem." - Ronald Reagan
"It is impossible for a government to spend its country into prosperity because it is impossible for it to tax its country into prosperity."
"Ooohhh no! There goes my die roll / Go, go SteveZilla!" - FireTiger
"Pardon me boy / Is this the lair of Great Cthulhu?
In the city of slime / Where its night all the time."
The last few months have been very talky & emotional (Which the Strip itself has made light of). On the other hand, the plot has really been fleshed out.
Dragon Magazine however, has had an OOtS "pure comedy" strip in the back of each of it's issues for the last six months or so.
WW: "We have Einstein's Brain? I thought that was at Princeton Hospital?"
MM: "Transylvania 6-5000 Dubbie! Do you really think we'd leave that hanging around a bunch of Frat boys with Mono?"
WW: "So, whose brain does Princeton have?"
MM: "The only woman smart enough to kill Einstein"
-- Wendy Watson learns another useful fact from the Middle Man
"It will increase the effectiveness of your sword by 25%!"
"It's okay. You can just say "+5" - we all do it."

One of the funniest comic strips out there. I picked up both the published books.
The third, No Cure For The Paladin Blues, is off pre-order status and can be delivered to your doorstep.
And, they did make sure to mention that "[Y]es, the book contains a complete translation for all of Haley's cryptograms."
I'll have to pick it up. I need to pick up all the KOTD Bundles of Trouble too - I want to reread some of the early stories, without risking damage to my collection.
The PCs are rootin', tootin' kittens living in this very town who, with flamethrowers, fight the enemies of the State for electrum pieces...or so it would seem.
"Well, THAT changes the equation considerably. I haven't worked out all the math yet, but I can estimate the answer as, 'You're screwed.'" - Belkar
I just stumbled across this webcomic yesterday. I devoured the archieve and now I want more. It reminds me of 8bit Theater a little, especially with how similar 8bit's Black Mage is with Order Of The Stick's Belkar.
Another great fantasy webcomic (once you get into the story which takes like 10 strips or so) is Dominic Deegan Oracle For Hire. Read it now.

We just don't understand each other. It's not you, it's the cleric and druid's ability to fill two archetypical roles simultaneously as well as those they replace. It is tearing us apart. I made you this mix tape of songs that describe exactly how I feel. Included are such tracks as "OMG I'm a Full Caster and Tank (and You Aren't), and, "People Who Aren't Like Me (Die In One Spell)" and "I'm a Giant Bear Who Casts Spells."
