    Genre-crossover nightmares

What mixed-genre premises would you find disturbing? Here's an example:

"Mel Brooks and Akira Kurosawa collaborating on one movie." (Mixing Ninja Hero with extreme doses of comedy)

Let's see what ideas you can come up with?

Edit: This was just something that came to me totally at random.

How about Call of Cthulhu by Andrew Lloyd Webber?

    Re: Genre-crossover nightmares

how about mixing movie titles/genres to come up with a very different movie?

    This is Spinal Taps
    Rocky Horror Picture Showboat
    BrigaDune
    Dirty Harry and the Hendersons
    When Dirty Harry Met Sally
The Empire Strikes Back to the Future
Jumping Jack Flash Gordon or for real fun Jumping Jack Flesh Gordon
    Run Silent Run Deep Throat
    The Prince of Crimson Tides
    Mother, Jugs, and Speed 2

or how about different authors writing well known books
    Tom Clancy writing Harry Potter

if I go digging somewhere I have the list of nearly 500 mixed movie titles that the folks on alt.callahans put together

I always thought Willy Wonka's chocolate factory was a good place to stage a horror game. Wonka has always been so creepy, like Micheal Jackson after he decided to be white.

And why stop at movies for cross-genre HERO gaming possibilities?

    Hamster Horror HERO

Maybe even make some bad puns too.

Yeah, "The Return of the Native" was a nightmare starting out. Not even ninja-pirates could save that story.
