    Im not a big fan of his pirate stuff (not being into pirates), but Don Maitz is one of my favorite fantasy artists.

    Killer Shrike, thanks replying with the above quote. Before your post, I had checked out the art gallery linked to above and not noticed the fantasy art. Your comment helped me discover some great art. I wanted to add my voice as a way to convince those of you still thinking "I'm not a pirate fan, what's in it for me?"

    Take a look at Don Maitz's website. Look for a drop-down menu that links to fantasy art. You won't regret taking the time to check it out.

    I regret taking the time to click it... his work is on a totally different level then anything I can accomplish just yet. I'm envious. Ahh well, I am young and have time I suppose.
