I'm technically in Seatac now. (Well, for the last year and a bit, actually.)

Re: Puget Sound Hero Gamers Roll Call

Hi. I just discovered this thread from Spence's sig. This is the first time I've looked in this forum because I'm in a gaming group that is steady. In fact I'm in the one that ngross (Norm) is running. I also think I know Cancer through the Blue Dragons. Cancer, I'm Jason's friend Bob that has played in your events several times at Dragonflight.

Please add me to the list. I would like to resurrect the talk of a Hero only con in the Puget Sound area. I like DF a lot and enjoy playing different game systems but would love to take a weekend and just do solid Hero gaming.

Added: I was pleasantly surprised to see how many are in Bothell!

Added again: Spence did you ever create the PS gaming resource thread? I don't see it in your sig. Thanks

    Welcome to the chaos

I added you to the list.

PS Gaming Resource thread? I tried to get it going, but never got any inputs from anyone. I wanted to do more than just name/city. I wanted to cover all the genre resources in PS, from gaming cons to cons with gaming to game stores.

I also wanted to include a brief outline of what was there so people had an idea. Some game stores are 99% Magic with a bit of D&D. Some game stores are actually RPG gaming stores that have a lot of actual RPG gaming in store.

But you get the idea. Something that would actually prove useful to someone looking for a game. I know a few stores that carry game material, but do absolutely nothing for you if you are looking for a game to get into or players for yours.

I might reboot the idea if I could get some input from the deep south. You know Bothell, Bellvue, Seattle

As far as HeroCon I goes, I'm in. And I can probably find a few other people to come as well. Can only guarantee myself though.

I'm in too. I have to beg off organizing anything big but if we only have a few people we could even meet at someone's house. I think I can volunteer mine...gotta check with my roommate.

So does it count if I'm not there yet? I'll be moving to the Tacoma area come August and I'm trying to see what gaming groups are in the area.

As soon as you know where you are going to be, let me know and I'll add you.

I've been mostly off-line lately, that pesky real life thing. But I monitor post notifications so I can update as needed.

    Lynnwood, WA.

My wife and I have both played RPGs for a long time. She's Samuraiko here, though neither of us has posted much in the past several years.

Re: Puget Sound Hero Gamers Roll Call

    Had a thought. Shocking, no?

Might be more trouble than it's worth, but can the locations/towns in the OP be linked to Google Maps, or somesuch? Been in the area for a year, and still don't know much of the area South of the Alderwood Mall... which probably excludes about 80% or more of ther greater Seattle area. Might be convenient to click on links here, rather than going back and forth.

    Just a thought.
