    Re: CHARACTER: Rocky Balboa

Looks good except for the Damage Resistance. 10 pts of damage resistance means bullets bounce off him. (9mm do 1d6+1 on average, 5.56mm rifle rounds do ~2d6). I'd drop it entirely. A normal PD 10 simulates his toughness quite well, what with the normal characteristic maxima being 8.

    Re: CHARACTER: Rocky Balboa

If you still want to have some resistant defense you can go with Combat Luck to make it cinematically more realistic. In that case I'd drop the PD to 7 to maintain a total PD of 10. Though I think I agree with Shaft that a boxer really doesn't need resistant defenses.

And here's his opponent from the first two films, later his trainer and friend, the Master of Disaster himself, Apollo Creed. These numbers represent the character as he first appeared in Rocky (1976), as do the numbers for ol' Rock above.

    Re: CHARACTER: Rocky Balboa

The damage reduction should be for normal instead of resistant, IMHO. The man can take a massive amount of normal damage, but I think a knife, gun or chainsaw will do its full damage. Hitting him is not literally like hitting a piece of iron. Feel free to disagree with me though. As stated, this is just the way I see it.

Rocky Balboa in the Champions Universe might be on the low end of bulletproog though.
