    Re: Licensed Hero System Products

That was actually published through HERO games.
You know how you play with a cat by dangling a peice of sting within his grasp, and then pull it away as he grabs for it? If the string isn't exciting and tempting the cat won't grab. But if you pull away early too many times and deny him too often, the cat gives up in frustration. The skill is in finding the sweet spot between those extremes where its fun for you and the cat.

    That's what a GM's job is.

Question Re: Licensed Hero System Products

I think he has a point though. It was published by Hero Games as a Third Party Product.

    Does that count?

If it does, you need to include Bright Future and the Unknown Eagles books too.

I just see at as a campaign sourcebook that came out through HERO games, just like Strike Force was Allston's setting.

Are we sticking with stuff for Fifth Edition, or going back further? There are a number of products in the latter category.

Oh yeah - the 3 Atlas modules*, the Firebird stuff. I was sticking mostly to 5th.

    * Foxbat Unhinged was one of the funnest adventures to run.

Sneaky Re: Licensed Hero System Products

Concidering that most of the San Angelo series is 4th Edition, maybe we should inclued them all. At least all the ones we can find Links too.

Well, that may be a bit problematic. For example, Gold Rush Games put out a pair of adventure compilations for 4E HERO, Heroic Adventures (for Champions) and Heroic Adventures Vol. II (for Dark Champions), but they're no longer listed on the GRG website.

Hero Games also used to carry some licensed Hero Plus e-book products, Bright Future (sci-fi), Unknown Eagles and Unknown Eagles: Special Ops (modern adventure IIRC), and Broken Kingdoms (fantasy), all for 4E; but HG no longer carries them, although there's still a map of the Broken Kingdoms in Free Stuff.

Going 'way back, Firebird Ltd. published the first edition of The Golden Age of Champions even before Champions III came out. Finding links to describe any of these would probably require haunting online used-game dealers, eBay or Amazon. OTOH Derek Hiemforth has provided a pretty complete listing of HERO publications since the dawn of time in his HERO System Products List.

    Re: Licensed Hero System Products

Is it possible to split the list into 5th Edition and 4th Edition stuff, and possibly make note if electronic or hardcopy, in print or currently no-longer available.

Because I'll gladly purchase some of this stuff if I know it's 5th.

*sigh* I still wish Chris Cloutier had some part in the HERO 5th Golden Age.
