Well I am freshly returned from Origins 2003, and only sightly worse for wear.![]()
During one of my many tours through the exhibition hall, I had the opportunity to speak with Jason and Steve at length. They are great guys who are performing a yeoman's service for this beloved game system. (I know there are many others who have a hand in Hero products, so thank you as well.)
Jason in particular seemed stunned that I ( and certainly many others) love his collumn in Digital Hero. If you like Jason's collumn then let him know! These historical figures are a great resource that can add flair to anyones campaign.
Steve was cool, got him to sign my 5E book, and is in my opinion an excellent custodian of the Hero legacy. Though the write-in campaign didn't work so well, Steve took home a statue for his work on Lord of the Rings (Grats!) from his time at the other company which shall not be named here.
I am eagerly awaiting the release of Fantasy Hero, as I am sure many of you are. I poured over the pre-release copy (after thumbing through the playtest copy) and man is it ever impressive. This one is going to knock our collective socks off. They layout is first rate and the content is as always superb.
No, I am not a paid shill for Hero Games. I have played the Hero System since there was a Hero System and these guys are getting it right. Spot on!
Excelsior!
