    DH cover observation

I was looking back over the gallery of covers of Digital Hero when I noticed that the artwork seemed to be dominated by supers style images. Only two covers had more of a futuristic mech theme to them, and even those could have fitted into a supers setting with little stretching.

Please understand that I have no complaint about the quality or appropriateness of the artwork. It's just that with the greater emphasis by the new Hero Games on all genres of gaming, and the great variety of material included in DH, it would be appropriate for the covers to reflect that variety. Something more obviously fantasy, sci-fi, modern adventure etc. would make for nice variety.

Of course if the DH covers were drawn from a pool of existing art that was supers-heavy, I certainly understand why using that would have been more practical, but it might be something to keep in mind when choosing/soliciting new artwork.

Quite true. I appreciate the comment. For good or bad, the next two covers are already udnerway, and are also superhero-centered. I'll be sure to add some more variety to future covers, especially with Fantasy Hero coming out.

Nonetheless, the celebrity spread of Zenyo Ral'Zara was pretty classic....

    (I can't believe I actually said that....)
