    Bedis Demon Conversion Bite

    Hello all,

I'm working on a Demon write-up for my campaign and I was wondering if I could get some feedback on its primary ability.

The Bedis Demon can attack by biting the target. The bite is vicious and causes sustained bleeding:
    Ravenous Bite: (Total: 22 Active Cost, 17 Real Cost) Killing Attack - Hand-To-Hand 1/2d6 (1d6+1 w/STR) (Real Cost: 10) plus Killing Attack - Hand-To-Hand 1 point, Reduced Endurance (0 END; +1/2), Continuous (+1) (12 Active Points); No STR Bonus (-1/2), Linked (Killing Attack - Hand-To-Hand; -1/4) (Real Cost: 7)
In addition, the target could be infected by a two part disease that begins to cause insanity and eventually transforms the infected individual into a Bedis Demon themself:
Disease: Drain EGO 1d6, Reduced Endurance (0 END; +1/2), Continuous (+1), Delayed Return Rate (points return at the rate of 5 per Week; +1 3/4) (42 Active Points); Extra Time (3 Days, Only to Activate, -2), Requires A Targets CON Roll Vs. The Bedis EGO Roll (RSR Skill is subject to Skill vs. Skill contests; -3/4), Linked (Ravenous Bite; -1/4)
What I wanted in the above ability is for the disease to drain the targets EGO every three days after the target has been bit. Each time the Disease kicks in, the target makes a CON check vs. the original Bedis demons EGO to resist the Drain.
Conversion: Major Transform 3d6 (Infected Creature into Bedis Demon, Remove Curse Prayers), Usable By Other (+1/4), Based On EGO Combat Value (Mental Defense applies; +1) (101 Active Points); 1 Recoverable Charge (-1 1/4), Conditional Power (Can only be used when the Disease power successfully drains the targets EGO; -1/4)
The Conversion kicks in whenever the target's EGO successfully gets drained. Over time it builds up and slowly turns the target into a Bedis Demon.

Feedback very much appreciated as I am unsure about this build.

I am assuming you want the Drain to only hit once every three days. As you have it written, it starts in three days and then would hit every phase the demon has an action. Someone correct me if I am wrong. Take off the Only to Activate and you should be good.

What is the Usable By Other for on the Conversion? I am not sure I would allow the 1 Recoverable Charge on the Conversion. It would not happen until days after the bite. Charges just really does not seem appropriate. Maybe bump up the Limited Power Limitation.

    Re: Bedis Demon Conversion Bite

Well, basically it's supposed to work like this:

The person is bit by the demon. The target makes an opposing skill roll using his CON vs. the demons EGO to see if they are infected. If not then continue on as normal. If so, then in 3 days the disease manifests and drains 1d6 EGO.

This successful drain triggers the conversion ability which attempts to transform the target into a demon. The "attack" is based on ECV and the transform is cumulative if necessary. Should the target not be transformed then in 3 days time the drain EGO disease attacks again. If it successfully drains EGO, then the conversion attack takes place a second time.

Repeat as necessary until the character is healed of the disease or becomes a Bedis Demon.

I want the transform attack to only happen once every 3 days at the most. Basing its ability to attack solely on the successful drain of EGO from the target.

To me, this "disease" is more a corruption of the soul and the draining of EGO is representative of the targets willpower.
