    representing the genre

A lot of talk about the new 6th ED has tilted towards the Supers end of the spectrum. HERO can do anything to an extent, but what it's always done best is represent larger then life super hero gaming.

I would like to see options for more violent lethal rules. This would simulate dark graphic novels such as the Authority, and Preacher. Not as standard, but additional options

I would seriously consider untrained default skill rules. An 8- is to low a default for simple things like climbing. I say use the related skill roll with a -2 penalty. Therefore a characters DEX roll 13- would have a 50/50 chance at climbing based on shear coordination (11-). Same with skills like stealth, conversation and anything else anyone should have a fare chance at. This also reflects natural abilities better.

Tanks are too tough. Currently the heavy tank has additional plating
in the front that grant it plus 10 armor double hardened. I really really don't like giving current technology double hardened defenses. No player wants to blow points on triple armor piercing advantage (+1 1/2!?). Only super tech should be double hardened. Modern lasers should be able to cut tank armor, how else was it made then? Extra plating should not provide extra defense. Thicker doesn't mean harder. I say plus 10 BODY to the front makes more sense. Super hero's should be able to damage basic military vehicles.

If diamond is 20 armor then nothing short of super tech should be greater, nothing. Once again I feel the genera would be reflected better if players could damage more objects with there EB's and punches. This is the one thing Fuzion got correct IMO. As it stands now a tank or bank vault can only be damaged with a hay maker from an 85STR punch!
