When one of us wins the lottery.
Or when you prepay us several thousand dollars to make it.
Or when some other vast source of money shows up -- so vast that we can produce cool throwaway products like this.It would be very cool, tho....

If it has the same quality cover and binding as the current Fifth Edition, I'll be more than satisfied with a revised version with the errors corrected and the "Genre by Genre" PDF as an additional chapter (with appropriate artwork added, of course). I expect that that is still two or three years down the road, but it will likely be the last version of the HERO System for a long, long time.![]()
One other thing I was wondering, though; we do still see optional rules appearing in genre books, DH articles and the like, along with essays on interesting ways to use the system. Has anyone given thought to one day collecting some of the more interesting/useful new ideas into a single book like the old HERO System Almanac?
We might do something like an Almanac someday, but like the old ones it would likely be new stuff, not reprints of existing stuff. I'm willing to do some copying over where it seems necessary/useful to me, like between SH and TUV, but I'd rather not put out a whole book of reprints, or even one consisting substantially/primarily of reprinted material.

Almanac? Hero Games 2004 edition, 2005.
Heh, my Grandpa had all sorts of World Alamanacs from '52-'81, It would be just too cool to have a bookshelf with years worth of the Hero System Almanac for my grandkids to discover.
Thank God it's almost quitting time. I'm losing focus....
