    I believe they're something Cryptic's come up with for the game -- some sort of low-level opponent for somewhere. I might have seen them out in San Jose when I tried the demos they had, but I'm not sure.

    Oh sure, if and when we have the proper book to put them in. That's largely where Monster Island is coming from: Cryptic's take on what's going on there. It's not something I'd even have considered doing a book about had they not turned it into a zone in the game.
