Here's another notable martial artist, a middleweight boxing contender (and occasional thug for hire) from the late 1920s, Michael "Potatoes" O'Brien.

Not sure if I like this drawing too well. I was attempting for something patriotic, but I dunno...

    Thanks.

Of course, any good pulp hero would have "Potatoes" O'Brien for breakfast....

It's patriotic... in an "American Gladiators" sort of way...

    I like it.
On the one hand you want realism, on the other you want a playable game. We can argue about this all night long, but until you all line up against the wall and let me shoot you, we are not going to learn anything. ~Sean Waters

He looks good to me! The hair does give off a 70's kind of vibe, now that you mention it....

And speaking of something patriotic, here's one of the big NPCs from my campaign world. Working as a young man in the cornfields of Iowa, he gained super powers (super strength, invulnerability, enhanced senses, and near-immortality) when he was struck by a glowing green meteorite. He decided to use his new-found abilities to protect his community, his country, and the world. A paragon of the American ideal, he is know known far and wide as:

    Yankee!
