    Re: Cloverfield (350 Points)

Basically Cloverfield was a superlarge (350 feet tall) brick knocking over building with it's casual strength (50 STR). The UV Vision and LS are based on a creature that came from the depths of the sea (See Chapter 17 on the DVD for details). It has no skills, and the only interaction with people is scaring and killing them.

Regarding the parasites, I was thinking of a RKA 1d6 Megascale explosion with say 100 Continuous charges. As the continueous charge rule states that a way to turn off the charge is Required, doing 3 or 4 body would simulate the killing of a bug nicely. I couldn't figure a way to include it in the 350, but one limition was Not in Water.

Oh, one thing I forget was it's tail and tenticles.

Extra Limb, Limited Manipulation (-1/4) 4 Points.

We don't so much buy Always On for size/mass alteration powers any more with 5th edition.

The recommended way is to just cost it out separately.

    That would be, for example:

    90 (100 STR)
    16 (18 BODY)
    36 (18" KBR)
** indeterminate level of Stretching, adjustments to PD/REC/STUN/Armor as you deem appropriate.

You might sell off DEX to simulate huge size, and buy up OCV, or AoE on STR. A lot of options for this particular creatures.

Though overall, I prefer your approach, as it's simpler and says what it means.

I prefer Always On, Inherent Growth as well. It's straight forward and more granular.

Great movie. But the monster's name was Cloverfield?

I believe the moviemakers nicknamed the monster "Clover".
