almost ready to start my own game...Help

Being unable to find a game to play in, I've decided to start my own. I'm going to set up a mini con using www.meetup.com
But for a starter so not to scare them with character creation, I need a couple of each type of basic characters to hand out. they need to be simple as possable.
Any help would be appriciated, Thanks!

I don't know if this helps but you can find hundreds of characters on the board in the New Circle, various universe, and call for campaign threads. Surely there will be at least six guys you can use.

Here is a link to the Characters page for the Metahumans Rising setting I've been working. The builds vary in complexity and tend to have their own internal consistency as for as power levels go. This may or may not fit with other peoples views but may help to give some samples.

Here is the Characters page from the Metahumans Rising campaign on Hero Central. The characters here were all player created and tend to be more complex.

Check out Digital Hero #9. I did a Champions adventure that is made for convention runs. The group of heroes are very well balanced and of the common types.

Just bodge some you like together using the pick and mix templates from champions
And, once again, probability is willing to sneak into a back ally, and service Drama as would a copper piece harlot- Vaarsuvius, Order of the stick 583

    Supers characters

    Superheroic campaign materials

Also, I did two supers oriented con games in Digital HERO -- Project: PREDATOR and Through A Mirror Darkly that provide numerous characters and adventure materials.
