interior book art is progressing nicely,
and I'm beginning the laborious conversion to 6E.
If anyone wants to learn more about 6E by working on USA-5O dudes....![]()
Sorry for the longer-than-expected delay, but here's an updated pic for Bison, the Heroine of the Equality State!
Bison!
(She's from Wyoming, if you didn't know.)
She has a little darker complexion in this pic than in the last one. I decided I wanted to work some Native American into her. It seemed fitting somehow, especially since all my other heroes are lily-white.
Great work on this project, Egyptoid.

Just FYI:
The USA-5O website is pretty much set right now, and it's all 5th edition,
and will remain so.
The USA-5O books will be 6th Edition, and will have new art.
Few if any previews of the books will be released.
Full credits will still be given to all designers.
The Western book is being ground out now,
and not unlike sausage, isn't pretty till its done.
Again, hats off to Bob Greenwade, a sure help in time of trouble.![]()
The updated version of the hero of Montana:
Big Sky!
I like the other version of the pic better, but for current purposes, this will work.
No idea when I might find the time to make an updated version of Rushmore, by the way.![]()

Torturing children should never be acceptable!
I know a chap calling himself Big Sky from another forum I frequent. I styled himself like a cowboy, though and his CG artwork was amazing.

Open call for adventure ideas....my geek friends, looking for idea seeds.
While working on my USA-5O book, I need side-bars and adventure ideas.
I'm not asking you to write a module for me,
just one or two thoughts, and I'll flesh it out from there.
but when you have 5 minutes, if you could look WESTERN HEROES
at the Champions pages below, and jot down anything
that comes to mind, like a truckload of radioactive potatoes
that the Idaho hero could track down before it starts a mutation war.
Thanks for any and all input, silly or serious, it will make the book better if more eyes
than mine look at it, plus you can get your name into the credits.
thanks a bunch... Western Heroes
thanks to the question man for the plug.
I wish the book were coming soon, but my day job eats up beaucoup time.
Still, slowly I progress.
sixth ed
I’m working on Chapter Four (the Heroes).
That’s going a little more slowly than I’d hoped, since I have to
(a) revise the character sheets for the new rules,
(b) touch up the character sheets where necessary to represent any changes others have made to the characters being depicted, and
(c) reformat the character sheets for our new layout style.
But it’s all getting done.
