Funny, it took DC's New 52 three issues to make me want to read more (and only 2/3ds of the full line of books), but only one issue of Ultimate Spider-man's revamp to crave the next issue. Maybe it is character developement and not total continuity makeover that makes a good comic.

The face is a bit too Zoltar for me (Battle of the Planets / Gatchaman) but overall I like the way Foxbat has been handled. Hopefully he'll be absolutely bonkers in the game itself - superhero games need a bit of silliness now and then.

I'm glad to see both that Cryptic Studios is giving us the classic Foxbat essentially unmodified, and that the response to the character by the Champions Online community on their forums has been overwhelmingly positive.

I when I read his origin, I "heard" it in Bruce Campbell's voice. I'd never considered using The Bruce for Foxbat, but now it seems like a no-brainer.
