OK, Herophiles... it's contest time!
As some of you know, Cryptic had some Champions Online ping-pong ball guns made to promote the MMO. You can see some pictures of it below, courtesy of Archermoo. We've obtained a dozen or so of them to give away to you, our loyal Hero fans!
To win one, you have to create a humorous Champions or HERO System "motivational poster." Those of you lacking the proper software or whatnot on your own can use an online tool for creating them, such as the one at:
http://bighugelabs.com/flickr/motivator.php
Here are the rules:
1. All posters must be posted in this thread no later than midnight EST on Friday, October 31. You may post as many entries as you want.
2. All posters must relate to Champions or the HERO System in some way. Posters about gaming issues in general are permissible, but are likely to be marked off a few points. Posters somehow involving Foxbat or ping-pong ball guns may (or may not) earn a few extra points, but that's definitely not required -- any Champions/HERO topic will do. Blatant attempts to curry favor with the judge (me) by using things I like (cats, weaponry, various attractive wimmens, books I have written, etc. ad nauseum) are permitted. But the real object here is to be creative and funny.
3. All posters must be original. No copying from somewhere else.
4. If you enter the contest you must be willing to provide us with your real name and address in the event you win, so we can send you your toy. Shipping will be done by Tina using whatever methods seem best to her.
5. Bribery is absolutely permitted. You can give me rep, money, stuff I want in World of Warcraft, or anything else you think I'd like in an attempt to secure a ping-pong ball gun for yourself. I'm not promising it will work, though.
6. All judging is to be done by me and is at my discretion. MWAH hah hah hah hah!!!
7. Rules may be added, removed, or changed at will by the judge.
8. There is no Rule #8... yet.
So, get cracking! Your ping-pong ball gun awaits you....
