As a note, they make a version that is identical, but doesn't have blank keys.I have one of these, and it's actually a darn fine keyboard. There are really only two reasons I don't use it:
1. My job involves a lot of setting passwords. These don't echo to the screen, and making typos in them would obviously be bad. So for work, I need to use a keyboard where I can be absolutely certain I'm hitting the keys I think I'm hitting. So I can't use it for work.
2. I strongly prefer to use the exact same keyboard both at work and at home, so my fingers don't have to remember two slightly different layouts. So I can't use it at home either.
But my role at work will be changing soon, and I won't be dealing with passwords nearly as much. I'm thinking seriously of picking up another Das Keyboard when that change occurs, and using it at both home and work. It rocks.
