    Question DH Circulation

Is it unfair or improper to ask the circulation of Digital Hero? If its low, how can it be increased? I think the promotion of the e-mag should be increased. Not only do I love to write for it. but I love to read it each and every month. I am more excited about it than any magazine I get. (Even Chess Life! God am I a geek!!)

What is it that keeps the rank and file Hero person from buying the mag. The playtest incentive alon is worth a ton to me!

    Please share your comments.

For my part, I've been posting reviews each issue (except for #11, due to RL issues) in an attempt to build up buzz for what I think is an excellent e-mag, as well as provide some feedback to writers. Not a lot of response lately, however, so I'm wondering if it's worth the effort.

I've also suggested or mentioned DH in other threads (most recently in a "next book to buy" thread). Some people think the only way to get it is with a credit card, which isn't true, but misconceptions may keep potential buyers away.

I agree, the playtest thing alone is worth the price of admission. I was running in Millennium City before the book was out thanks to the playtest version.

As to circulation numbers, I sincerely hope they're high enough to keep DH coming. Like you, it's something I look forward to getting each month, and that was even before I submitted anything for publication.

We don't release sales figures or anything like that. But I can tell you that DH sells well enough that we're willing to keep doing it -- it at the very least covers its own expenses.

Thanx, guys! All efforts to say nice things about DH and draw attention to it gratefully appreciated.

I think it could be more prominently featured on the main page.

Personally, I avoided DH for a year bcs Im not a huge fan of PDFs. I got my subscription just to get my hands on the FH Playtest doc. However, on a bored-with-nothing-I-felt-like-doing day I skimmed thru the first 12 ishes and was generally pleased with them. A lot of really good stuff. Personally, I liked Dave Mattingly's alternate AoE's article the best out of all the articles that caught my eye, the extra CU characters are also very cool, and Steve's whacky Time Stop, Tac Nuke, and similar articles are amusing as well.

I've been converted to pro-Digital HERO in other words

Thanks, Shrike. I hadn't heard any comments on it yet. I hope the AOEs come in handy.

You should scan the board more . Here's a character I made specifically to use them. He's not very combat effective, but he looks fun:
