Dragon*Con

I am going to try to run some non super hero Hero games at Dragon Con, but at the open tables. I didnt want to get involved in DCs ticket games, and Steve Long has stated in the past that He prefers Hero GM to volenter running games and not be involved in games that require money.

I should have flyer at the gaming area at the Hyatt for the couple of games I will run.

As for the Hero Lunch I belive the consensus is still to meet Sat After noon at the Hyatt main lobby at 12:30. I think the idea is to go over to the food court and gather tables and let the Hero fans pick where ever they want to eat and Then gather at the tables. I have my kids help me set up. (kids being of late HIgh school age.)

Ill be the overweight guy in the lobby with a black shirt and a goatie beard. That should be east to pick out.

just kidding, Ill have my wizard cap and a Hero games sign made.

Any Hero fan should plese come to eat with us. And perhaps a pickup game could be set up there later...

Three weeks away gang.....really looking forward to it

Gwena Kitten, I am very much looking forward to seeing your Dawn outfit. I might be taking pictures for the con at the Dawn event. Well be one of the guys taking pictures for the convention.

Not entering the costume contest this year but plan to next year.

Went to Dragon*Con last year (my first time) and had a blast! I'm originally from the east coast (Connecticut) so it's nice to be able to get back there every once in awhile.

Be prepared for a flurry of non-stop activity and loads of interesting costumes. I plan on attending as many panels as I can. Maybe get in a game, but I don't know. I tend not to like convention games since I don't really have an opportunity to get into charater, but sometimes it can be fun.

We're meeting Saturday at 12:30 PM at the lobby of the Hyatt Regency. From there we head to the Food Court, get tables together, people grab whatever they want to eat, and we sit down and chat.

Umm that Saturday at 12:30 and we are going to meet at Hyatt lobby. Of course it should be easy to find us at the food court.

That's Saturday, not Friday.

You can meet us in the lobby or at the Food Court. Either way's fine. :-)

::Snaps head back onto shoulders:: Ok - *Saturday at 12:30* : ) Is the loby near the foodcourt? I have not been to this hotel before.

You can reconize be on Saturday because I'll be in a Dawn costume. Wait, so will many other girls, and a few guys. Ok, for Saturday afternoon I will be in jeans and a skull leotard, green gloves, rose and chain. I have very long hair - which will be red for the contest, and I'm 5'11", plus extra in my boots, so that should stand out. : ) I have another Dawn costume for later that night, but I'm keeping it a secret until just before the contest. ::grin:: I'm looking forward to Dragon*con sooooooo much!

Hyatt Lobby is very close to the food court.

Maybe a five minute walk at MOST.

Just to make sure I understand the lobby as the level where the Hotel registration desk is and where the double revolving door entrance is. The lobby has a white tile floor.

If Jemster or some one has a better discription PLEASE sound out.

The group should be easy to find. I am betting I can spot a Dawn lookalike searching for a group Sat Afternoon.

I just wanted to say that both me and my friend are going to be coming to CON. This is my 3rd and this is 4th consecutive time going. We have both been playing Champions for a long time and we would like to meet some other players since we dont have a big amount from my hometown in Savannah, GA. If anyone would like to just say hey or something feel free to drop a line to me, I would like a chance to get in on a game in the open gaming area if someone is going to be running. Hope to see some of you there
