    **reads post**

Obviously, I'd never work. I'd say "I have an campaign idea" and Steve'd say "no."
Me: "But I haven't even said what it is!"
    Steve: "Still no."
    Me: "But..."
Steve: "But nothing, I know your reading and viewing habits. So, no. nein. nyet. nada."
    Me: Meanie."

So your post is just over a year old, but I just found it. Are you still looking for new players/GM? My husband and I live in Hillsborough. Our collective gaming experience is 50+ years. We wouldn't likely be able to make a weekly game, but possibly once a month? My husband is almost always the GM but since we moved to NC we don't have any players.
Yes, we're still looking. We've mostly been board gaming lately, but are about to start a new Post-Apocalyptic mini-campaign and have some other mini-campaigns in the offing. I'll talk to the other guys about a possibly monthly get-together and maybe we can try something out.

If I leave the house now & walk west to Sligo, start swimming until I hit Newfoundland, then turn left, how far down the US coast do I go?
About two-thirds of the way. Turn right at Pamlico Sound and head inland 4-5 hours and you'll be here. Bring some Guinness and some of those cute Irish girls when you come. I'll leave the light on.

Well, there are some things I doubt the group would want to even try, but for the sake of a good regular game we'd probably all be willing to give most things a shot. Then we'd "subtly" work on you to convince you to run something we like better.

Well, to be honest, a lot of my anime influences are probably not what turns you off to anime.

We recently purchased Illuminati for Christmas and have been enjoying that. Have you ever played that "board" game (it's really a card game)?

My wife applied for some jobs near there, she is a college professor type. Depends if she gets selected, of course, but if so, I might be your huckleberry. What genre would you want to game? I usually never get to play once I run a game anyways as peeps like my GM style.

Hi, I don't know how long this message has been sitting here as I actually found it while doing a google search for NC gaming groups. I just moved to Lillington, NC and am looking to meet some fellow gamers to get into a group. I'm 28 years old and have been playing RPGs for years (primarily DnD, though also some StarWars Saga Edition, StarWars d6 edition, a little White Wolf, a little Exalted, and once Rifts). If you guys are still looking, I'd be very interested in meeting you and joining your group.
