    Question Help finding resource

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away....

Wait wrong movie!! A long time ago there was a book published that listed every firearm from flintlocks to machine guns. It included hand grenades and bazookas. It even included mortars and flamethrowers. It listed each weapons stats including a standard ammunition load. At the back of the book in the appendix it listed Hero stats for every weapon. I think it also listed MSP&E stats but I'm not sure. Does anyone know the name of the book or the publisher. I know it is out of print, but with the name/publisher I can start my search.

    Starwolf
    Corsairs Lair
Samantha Arken: Wow you have a lot of guns...
Wade McCode: Heh... Yeah, bad guys keep trying to kill us, but we keep surviving and collecting their weapons... It's a hobby

I think the book was called The Armory, and I'm pretty sure it was published by Firebird Ltd., the same company that produced the original Golden Age of Champions. There may have been a sequel published with even more weapons, but I'm not sure.

Yes, there was a sequel... Edge of the Sword, Vol 1: Compendium of Modern Firearms, published by R. Talsorian Games. It was also written by Kevin Dockery, the same guy who wrote The Armory. Both books are listed in my list of All Hero Books that's linked in my signature.

I have always prefered the old original Armory book. The Edge of the Sword only deals with modern firearms. Having the old stuff, like flintlocks, for compairison is often quite useful. I've got both of those books stashed around here somewhere.
Still playing/running 5ER in Oklahoma City.
