money and weapons?

Hey everyone. I have a couple of questions and would appreciate any answers. In Champions online, is there a type of money? do creatures drop it, or do missions reward them? Also, I wanted to know if there are better weapons to upgrade to. For example, can a sword users save money until he can buy a stronger sword? If you can answer these questions, please write back.

If you create a character that uses a weapons based powerset, you get the weapon. Later you might find an Offensive Replacement power that will add effects to your sword(weapon). So it's not like WoW in that you are always getting new equipment. In CO you get enchancements that go into Defensive, Offensive and Utility slots (you get one primary of each and 2 secondarys of each). You fill these slots with enhancement items that drop from Mobs and you receive as quest rewards.

There is a form of currency, you use it to buy things on the AH and from various vendors.

The currency is called Resources, representing favors at your beck and call.

Power Replacements can unlock costumes, allowing you to unlock weapon skins. If you are like my main and have zero weapon powers, you will never see them. If you are like one of my alts who uses swords, all sword power replacements (single and dual) unlock weapon skins for her, but the gun ones do nothing. I have another alt who will possibly do guns someday, and still need to roll an archer to see all of the weapon skins I can unlock via quests and crafting and random drops.
