As also noted in the Revised 2011 thread, I had issues with the WIFI in the seminar room, else this would've been up a bit sooner. Enjoy!

Edit: Oops, forgot to unlock this one. Sorry 'bout that...

Live a good life. If there are gods and they are just, they will not care how devout you have been, but will welcome you based on the virtues you have lived by. If there are gods, but unjust, then you should not want to worship them. If there are no gods, then you will be gone, but will have lived a noble life that will live on in the memories of your loved ones. -Marcus Aurelius

Interesting. I'm surprised that the 2012 GenCon release is Victorian Hero, not Dark Champions.

Any signs of a Primus book or a Golden Age Champions?

    Re: 2012 Release Schedule

Well, Victorian Hero serves as a cautionary tale: Steve Long's assertions as to what's unlikely to be published are to be taken with a grain of salt.

Glad to see Horror Hero finally on the schedule. Not my cup of tea personally, but it's the last major game genre not yet dealt with in the DOJ era, and IMHO long overdue. And of course a Cthulhu Hero subgenre book makes an appropriately terrifying followup to it.

And Profit And Purity is back up for publication! Here's hoping it stays this time. The IHA and ARGENT have been major players in official Champions Universe continuity since 2002, and deserve to be written up.

There was no mention of a PRIMUS book. Golden Age Champions remains an "it will be done when it's done" project of Darren's.

    Re: 2012 Release Schedule

The Martial World: Definitely want this one

HERO System Vehicles: A definite to get

Horror Hero: Beginning to want 2011 to go by faster

Cyber Hero: Secondary tier on getting. Will be a great addition to Kazei 5 if I knew people who wants to play the genre

Victorian Hero: So getting even though I will ignore the steam punk aspect.

Millennium City: Probably will pick up eventually but as I have 5th edition version, not a hurry up buy.

Profit And Purity: probably will get as I love organization books for mining of ideas

Cthulhu Hero: I would have to turn in my Miskatonic University sweatshirt if I did not buy this book.

Wow the only thing that would make 2012 even better if DOJ was bringing out Japan HERO or Anime HERO! Well played sir, well played!

    The Martial World:[/i] Maybe ...

HERO System Vehicles: Looking forward to this!

Horror Hero: Top purchase for the year IMHO

Cyber Hero: Looking forward to this as well ...

    Victorian Hero: Awesome surprise

Millennium City: Like Yam, I'm in no hurry ...

Profit And Purity: Low on my list ...

Cthulhu Hero: Wow ... another excellent surprise!

    Re: 2012 Release Schedule

The Martial World: On the must buy list.

HERO System Vehicles: On the must buy list.

Horror Hero: Not my general cup of tea. But will most likely get it. Great for ideas and I am curious on new methods for gaming horror/shock/fear.

    Cyber Hero: Definite buy.

Victorian Hero: I have been so waiting for this one. While I am sure that it will concentrate on British element (especially considering the title), but the tech base and equipment will be equally useful in other 1837-1901 settings.

Millennium City: This is a big maybe for me. If it was updated to the level of detail in Hudson City or Vibora Bay (including more detailed mappage), then yes. But if it is just a rewrite of the existing MC, than my 5th ed will serve.

Profit And Purity: Most likely. I like organization books.

Star Hero this year, then Cyber Hero, Horror Hero & Cthulhu Hero next year?

This is going to be a good couple of years for Hero products!!

Of these books, HSV and the genre-related books are all on my to-get list. The setting books, not so much, but that's just because of my life circumstances (which could change between now and then).
