"Do it?" Dan, I'm not a Republic serial villain. Do you seriously think I'd explain my master-stroke if there remained the slightest chance of you affecting its outcome?
I did it thirty-five minutes ago.
This is so bad. I never got into D&D 4.0 as it seemed to much like trying to make a pen and paper MMO. Now the D&D 4.0 rule set is being turned into an MMO and I still have like no interest.
Long live Pathfinder.

The only Neverwinter worth a crap, is Neverwinter Nights 1. They keep trying to recreate that games popularity but they insist on avoiding what MADE it popular in the first place.

I remember the Neverwinter Nights on AOL. Full of a bunch of asshats, committing general asshatery.
The trailer looks pretty good, and I may check it out. But after being burned by being an early buyer of CO, I'm going to take a wait and see approach and not jump on it at launch. They claim that they've learned from their mistakes in developing CO and STO, and are taking a better approach with Neverwinter, but I'm not too trusting of them with my limited budget. I hope it turns out OK. In the meantime, I still have DDO, which is growing on me the more I play it.
Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
I've been doing research on this and Massively.com based on their podcast says that this is not an MMO. I'm not sure how the business model is for the game, but they are also allowing the creation of your own dungeons and they are using Cryptic's Foundry system and promising it will have plenty of customization options. I was originally counting this out, but now I'm being cautiously optimistic. I promise to give you all reports as I have more info to reveal.
It's basically, Unreal Tournament, done DnD style. :P
~Rex.....nauseous....goes back to figuring out how to salvage NwN 1 off the old computer.
Have you thought about GOG.com? I lost the game years ago (likely in a move), so this was a no brainer for me.
Will if I can't get the old franken computer to give me my files. Right now it's just refusing to boot up, hence, the beating shall commence, heh.
