It is unclear why the bear, which was wearing ice skates at the time, attacked Mr Potapov. The bear was later shot by police. Deadly attacks are rare in the country's circuses, which often train bears to wear skates and play ice hockey.

Maybe -1/4?

I think -1/4 would be about right. Keeping in mind the Limitation isn't supposed to be obvious or frequently in play.

Okay, I edited the writeup. Added some life support as well. Technically she should be immune to disease and poison, but since it's unlikely to come up, I left it off. Would cost another 10-20 points.

And don't worry, everyone, Hawkeye is back, ready to shoot an arrow at something in case we run out of bullets!

Would this make an interesting Erotic Hero type character: An Elder of the Universe type being, older than time, who's means of distraction of experience every erotic/sexual diversions in the Universe and/or seduce all the genders of every alien species that has a concept of sex and romance?
Probably. In the CU, there could be a Galaxar(the Lover? the Seducer? the Paramour? ) who fits that role. They all have 300-500 point VPPs, plus usually a multipower representing their "specialty". The main decision you'd have to make as a GM is just how seductive/effective they are at what they do. Is it all PRE-attack and skill-based? Do they have a superhuman level of skill? Do they use mind-control or emotion-control type powers? The interesting thing is if they try to seduce a PC--does the PC regard it as unwelcome romantic attention(of a cosmic nature), or as an extraordinary opportunity to experience something few beings in the universe do?
You could also do something similar with a terrestrial deity notorious for their conquests--the prime example, of course, being Zeus/Jupiter.

I have a seemingly endless "to do" list for this thread/project, but it boils down to:
1. more character writeups
2. genre/sub-topic notes(maybe a dozen bullet points apiece, 20 topics)
3. copying and pasting everything into a word doc, then turning it into a usable pdf
#3 includes giving credit where it's due, so if you want to give me a "boost", feel free to collect all your own contributions and PM them to me, so I can put them in their own section for now.
I'm juggling a bunch of real world stuff--work, job-hunting, guitar practice--along with working on this and the sourcebook on running Epic superhero campaigns, so needless to say, it's taking a bit longer than I expected.![]()

I'm mostly working on the Epic supers sourcebook stuff right now, but haven't forgotten about this. I will try to put up an Avatar writeup(not the movie) next week and will start pasting stuff from this thread into a doc and convert to pdf for posting and review. Won't be done by Valentine's Day like I originally wanted, but mid-summer would be fine, too.![]()

Ok, here we go. This is a collection, not fully organized, of what we've come up with so far. I haven't labeled everyone's contributions properly, but will certainly do so for any final draft.

Anyone mentioned this yet?
Lucius Alexander
Book of Palindromedaries
It's not a bad book. There's some interesting content about mating, marriage and sexuality among different D and D races, mechanics and useful table if you want to include more material in that vein. Unfortunately, the book gets allot of flack about things that aren't actually in it as well as being compared (very undeservedly IMO) to F.A.T.A.L.
There are stories of faeries and banshees and the walking dead; but "the worst of them all," is the Fool of Forth, the Amadan-na-Briona, he whose stroke is, as death, incurable.
As to the fool in this world, the pity for him is mingled with some awe, for who knows what windows may have been opened to those who are under the moon's spell, who do not give in to our limitations, are not "bound by reason to the wheel."
