I feel bad

I was doing the mission with the whole rescue the helicopter pilot and when this guy started attacking one of the last guy. Thinking that he was trying to steal the mission, I automatically grabbed the mission. He then sent me an IM saying thanks for the team invite. I did not catch that right away as I was kinda busy. So I then attempted to say sorry but he had put me on ignore and I could not invite him to a team. I feel bad that I assumed the worse of his behavior but on the same note, seems a little trifling to put me on ignore for that.

I don't play CO, but I've run afoul of this kind of open world mission content, and the behavior it breeds, many times in other games. I gave up feeling bad about accidentally "stealing" someone's quests at the same time I gave up getting overly upset at having my quests "stolen" by someone else. Bad game design is bad, and that's firmly where I lay the blame for the entire problem.
