Anyone already have a spell book export (html or rtf) that they are willing to share?
Or
Could someone point me in the right direction on how to build one of my own?
Thank you
David

I've got both a basic plus one I designed for the Azgandian Magic System from FH. I also have one for Narosia, but you can't have that one... yet.
Which do you want?
Legendsmiths presents: Narosia * Sea of Tears, a complete fantasy setting for the Hero System.
... plus a pretty good Fallout conversion as well.
Can I have both so I can see which works best for me :-)?
Here you go. Please give me some feedback. I used these to determine what I wanted for my Narosia export. If there is something you would like to see, I can easily add it.
I include a sample of each. After you give me some feedback, I will upload to the vault.

Thank you. These are 95% of what I was looking for. Here is one tweak = I use the 'list' feature to group spells into 'sub-books', offensive, defensive, sensory, & misc. The Lists look like this in the current output:
Power:
Target: N/A
Duration: Instant
Range: None
Magic Roll Penalty: -1
Energy (END):
Game Information: SENSORY SORCERY, all slots 14-18 INT Minimum (-3/4), Requires A Sorcery Roll (Skill roll; -1/2), Gestures (Requires both hands; -1/2), Must meditate 1 hour per day Power does not work in Uncommon Circumstances (-1/4), Incantations (-1/4). Cost: pointsIt would be good if it looked like this instead
SENSORY SORCERY
Game Information: all slots 14-18 INT Minimum (-3/4), Requires A Sorcery Roll (Skill roll; -1/2), Gestures (Requires both hands; -1/2), Must meditate 1 hour per day Power does not work in Uncommon Circumstances (-1/4), Incantations (-1/4). Cost: pointsAnd if the spells in the list were 'indented' or had #) in front of each spell to indicate they are part of a list.
As the export is now I have 95% of what I need so I am very happy!
How about now?
In html I can't really do the indent thing for the list level easily. I think I came up with a good way to handle it though.
Let me know if there's anything else.

You are awesome! When I get my spells books finished I will publish them. Again thank you thank you!
How hard is it to make something RTF instead. Never had much luck making templates
How do you add the text between the title and the stat block for a given spell?
"Insert pretentious quote here..."
The text is the Notes for the Power. There is a button to edit that.
I can do rtf, but why? What are you looking for? Columns? Pagination? Edit after the fact? If you just want to edit it, then open the html in Word.

I usually use RTF or doc..After I get everything edited the way I want it I convert it to PDF. I didn't even think of editing the html.
I was curious on how hard it is to convert or make a template. I've had horrible luck trying to do so in the past..never seem to work out![]()
It all depends on the level of detail. So, if you can be more specific as to how you want it to look (e.g., post an rtf of how you want it to look) then I can see what I can do. I do have an rtf version for Narosia, but that one is built for that magic system which does things in an unconventional manner, so I could base it off that one but need to know what you are looking for.

I like the layout of this one..I just use rtfs for converting to PDF..not a problem
No link. Which one?
