Any players in the San Diego/La Mesa/Lemon Grove/Spring Valley/El Cajon interested in any of the following?

(1) 2nd to 5th edition Champions (Hero System)

(2) Pendragon (by Chaosium)

(3) Star Wars (1st edition West End Games)

(4) Ghostbusters (1st edition West End Games)

(5) James Bond 007 (Victory Games)

(6) Call of Cthulhu (Chaosium)

I could GM any of these if there are a few interested players.

I'd also be interested in these games on Hero Central if in-person isn't possible.

If I can get a handful of players who can commit to a regular game (say 2-3 times per month maybe), I'd love to get a real live game going. We could figure out what setting everyone is amenable to after we know we have enough folks to play & a place to meet.

Amazing as that is though, I do not have much time for face to face games; I can post in the odd spare moment, but blocking out a regular, large chunk of time is much more difficult. I probably couldn't do it more than once a month...

Seems there are more potential players in the area than I knew. Nobody ever responded when I tried to find players before!

It would be great to play a real game in person with players around a table.

I only moved to the area in 2011. I've been gaming with my old group using FaceTime a couple of times a month.

The idea of playing is intriguing. I'm currently GMing a 6th edition Champions campaign and a 4th edition D&D game.

I haven't gotten to actually game in so long I think I've forgotten how. The reasons for that are twofold:
1) No transportation but Public Transportation. So I would need a ride to and from wherever we got together to game. I would have no issues with providing a little gas money though.
2) My eyesight sucks due to cataracts, the doctor guesses that it's at best 20/200. The surgeries are far outside what I can afford. I'm applying for grants.

3) I don't have the rules anymore, but I'll still play it.
