Re: Your "2012" Pet Gaming Projects

I wrapped up the fantasy hero campaign I've been running the last 5-some years just before christmas.

New project is ... I dunno what you'd call it. Victorian Hero? Alienpunk pulp hero?
Anyway, it's a game starting in Victorian-era India, as the PCs are recruited by a mysterious agency called "Torchwood".

It was chosen as the next game by the players who contain a high proportion of Torchwood fans.
Right now, the plot is roughed out and I'm doing some background reading before starting a more detailed plotline. The last game was a sand-box style, which is why it sprawled over 5 years and ended leaving a zillion unresolved plot threads. This time, I plan to go back to a more disciplined, plot-oriented style, based on a season/episode style.

    cheers, Mark

I want to fully write up my Fantasy Hero setting and get a campaign going.
In the back of my mind is a Star Hero game set in Jack Vance's Gaean Reach, focused on investigation.

Start running Masks of Nyarlathotep, as soon as the Companion comes out. Keep running Rogue Trader : Behind Mykybe's Veil. It'd be nice to play in an RT game too, hopefully one of more serious tone, but it seems unlikely to happen :/

Well after psoting awhile and looking back on the Subterfuge of the Shadow Clan, I realized that I need to really review the 5thed rules that I using because I don't the rules as well as I thought I knew! (confusing some of 4th with fifth).
I'm amazed at what I learned, when I sat down and actually read the rules!

Warning--unless explixtedly stated, all comments are made to 5th ed rev.

Looks like you need to brush up on your smelling... I mean spelling too. Hero Designer is great for that. You could also Post and ask for suggestions, input, or envy from the less accomplished amongst us.

How hard is it to post from Hero Designer?

And I got a project to work on. I'm fleshing out the scenerio The Evil of Dr. Destroyer from Classic Enemies. To make it a martial flavored game, I'm swapping out DEMON with the Red Banner. Swapped the French Cathderal for an Asian Temple. I'm using Classic Enemies and Watchers of the Dragon sourcebooks. I really hope I get to run it this year.

Posting Hero Designer output to the forums is pretty easy... just use an export template that is setup for forum posting... then copy and paste the results into a post...

I just did a new forum posting template, you can read about it and see the output here: http://www.herogames.com/forums/show...e-Using-Tables

Write up my Fantasy Hero Campaign Setting, and possibly add the Victorian Fantasy and Urban Fantasy supplements to the setting.

Thank you-I'll give it a shot once I have a character I feel that is post-worthy.

    RU converting it to Hero?

Do you plan on using any other of the ancient CofC scenarios on the side?

Re: Your "2012" Pet Gaming Projects

Plan to start GMing again this year, probably starting with a little zombie apocalypse mini-campaign, then doing a supers game.
Still working on the ESSE Project(Eros System Sexth Edition), a sourcebook on all things romantic, erotic, and sexual for Hero System. No idea when I'll be done.
Also working on a guidebook for running Epic supers campaigns--nearly 60 pages written so far, hope to have a finished product that's around 300-400 pages(depends on how long the writeups section gets).

If I'm able to get those two projects finished by mid-year, I'll be open to doing some more free pdf books for Hero. Maybe I can help out on that Mecha Hero/Hero System Mecha sourcebook NuSoardGraphite keeps talking about.
It is unclear why the bear, which was wearing ice skates at the time, attacked Mr Potapov. The bear was later shot by police. Deadly attacks are rare in the country's circuses, which often train bears to wear skates and play ice hockey.

Update: I have the outline flushed out for the scenerio of the Evil of Dr. Detstroyer. I've made a list of some of the powers/advatages that caught me off guard with the subterfuge of the shadow clan. Oh, and I'm using Dr. Destroyer! (a modified version to be sure).

I tried this template and it is excellent! Thank you for sharing this with the community.

Unfortunately, the forum where my circle of friends and I post on is powered by phpBB and this template doesn't work there.

Re: Your "2012" Pet Gaming Projects

Going to rest my Champions campaign for a while and start running a Star Wars HERO campaign, starting out shortly after the Battle of Yavin and the destruction of Death Star I.

When I get tired of that, I'm thinking of a Star Trek HERO game. Got the great fan-produced material from (Shadocat? I think...).
