I have two Savage Worlds customizable GM screens (link here) that I use side-by-side to make one big screened-off area, and I have six homemade panels of information I insert into them. The panels include tables as follows:
Panel 1:
- Combat Chart (for filling in characters' names, DEXes, SPDs, Phases, etc.)
Panel 2:
- Damage Shorthand (lets me just roll 3d6, and use the 3-18 result to get STUN and BODY for any attack up to 20d6)
- Odds of the various possible results on a 3d6 roll
- Combat Maneuvers
- Modifiers for Inability to Sense an Opponent
- Effects of Grabs/Entangles
Panel 3:
- Hit Location Table
- Special Hit Locations
- Range Modifiers
- Velocity-based DCV
- The CV Checklist
- Combat Modifiers
- Object BODY
- Materials DEF
Panel 4:
- DCV Modifiers
- Actions table (1/2 Phase, Full Phase, No Time, etc.)
- Knockback Modifiers
- References to assorted Combat Rules, and what page in 6E2 the full rule can be found on
- Strength and Throwing Table
- Environmental Conditions
- Encumbrance
- Falling
Panel 5:
- Presence Attack effects
- Presence Attack modifiers
- Mental Illusions effects
- Mind Control effects
- Telepathy effects
- Mind Scan effects
- Mind Scan modifiers
Panel 6:
- Sight PER modifiers
- Hearing PER modifiers
- Smell PER modifiers
- Images PER modifiers
- Skill Roll modifiers
- Contact Roll modifiers
- The Time Chart

"Do it?" Dan, I'm not a Republic serial villain. Do you seriously think I'd explain my master-stroke if there remained the slightest chance of you affecting its outcome?
I did it thirty-five minutes ago.
I'd start with mudpyr8's (5th post)
then add lists of objects with wt,size, body and def
then the hit table and percentage table for 3d6

I would love to have one like Derik H discribed, but I would want to have at least two panels dedicated to art (even if at the cost of a few charts). Preferably the cover art from the new Fantasy HERO (Wow).
PS: Derek, does your maneuvers list include Martial Arts?
Well, yes for you, but remember that a GM Screen is for all GMs, not just seasoned vets.
So, yes I would do basic combat manuvers. I would also add a quick refence booklet for creations (what the official stats are, how much thay cost, list of official skills, what stat is used, and official cost per roll and +1, official powers and how much thay cost, official advantages and limitations...prehaps with refence pages for GMs to look up). I remember the booklet in the old BBB GM Screen being a real godsend to me.
the side facing the players should have a giant picture of Foxbat.
On the one hand you want realism, on the other you want a playable game. We can argue about this all night long, but until you all line up against the wall and let me shoot you, we are not going to learn anything. ~Sean Waters
but isnt't it a genre neutral screen?
