    Red Mark in Box

    Hello All,

I have a minor problem that's been plaguing me for awhile. Some of the export formats that I have for HD v3 have a box in it with a red x as if its missing soemthing. Well I can't find the fifth ed logo anywhere so that's what I'm thinking it is. The exports that it affects is the Default Character Sheet and Deluxe Character Sheet. Is there anyway to fix it? I know its minor but it just annoys me.

    Thanks in adavance.

If memory serves, it's looking for the jpg of the Hero Games logo. This jpg has to be in the same directory as the html files you're creating or it won't be seen. The red x means it can't find the image to display. (If you copy the logo into the same folder as your html files, you should be fine.)

Thanks Corpse-what then confuses me though is that the Hero 3 column has the logo. Is there a way I can check? P.S. after I bought the program, my profile on my computer froze and I had to create a new profile and copy everything over, could that have affected it?

You might try this - check in your export formats folder in your Hero Designer install to see if you have a valid logo file "hero5.jpg" - if your install is like mine, that image file is fine; but you may have a couple of corrupted image files: herologo.jpg and champions5.jpg. So, the thing to do to make sure that the export formats can find a good graphic if they're trying to use one of those two file names, is to replace them.

I got rid of those two corrupt image files and made two new copies of hero5.jpg file, then just renamed those copies as herologo.jpg and champions5.jpg. I then put copies of all three named versions of the logo into the folder where I save my character files. That way if an export template is looking for any of those three file names, it will get a good image file of the hero5.jpg logo.

As far as getting a good Champions logo or a good Hero 6th edition logo - I don't know - was just about to post about that myself.

Thanks mattherogames, found out that my phot gallery doesn't read the jpg and I'm on vista, so here I go.
