Error msg when using Print to PDF for a Vehicle

I'm using the latest update, which I was very excited to see...

When I went to use the Print to PDF feature with a vehicle, I got the following error message:

private method `gsub' called for nil:NilClass

Edit: Print to PDF still works with Characters (just wanted to see if this was a global issue created with the update).

I do not believe this has changed. Print to PDF, since its original introduction, has only functioned correctly with characters.
(I just recreated the same error with my pre-updated version)

That is correct!

I've mentioned this from time to time in other forum threads, but to save you the trouble of looking them up: print-to-pdf works by starting with the official character sheet PDF and writing the current character details onto it. The official character sheet only works for characters, per se: for example, it doesn't have SIZE or DEF characteristics, and things like hit locations don't really make sense for vehicles either.

I have contemplated putting together a different version of the feature that writes an entirely new PDF from scratch. If I were to do that, it would be pretty easy to support bases, vehicles, AIs, computers, automata ... whatever ... as first-class character types. I certainly won't do that until the Prawn PDF generation library (which is what print-to-PDF uses) has a 1.0 release, though. (If you're interested, prawn can be found at prawn.majesticseacreature.com.) And depending on how busy I am with other things, it might not happen at all!
