I'm putting this here, even though it has some Star Hero aspects...But for me it rings more Dark Champions bells...so...here:
And yes, there are some cliches involved....But then, it's a "big bang and boom" movie so.....shrug.

Meh. "2000AD" did "Prison In Space" with their "Harry 20" storyline. This looks good, though.

Looks decent. Though I'll have to wait for DVD (even then, it will be a wait). Cliches? in Hollywood? Nah....
I'm amazed at what I learned, when I sat down and actually read the rules!
