Can someone please tell me what the difference is between the templates that cam with DH, and the ones available for download from the free area. Also which do you prefer and why?
Thanks![]()

Wade McCode: Heh... Yeah, bad guys keep trying to kill us, but we keep surviving and collecting their weapons... It's a hobby
I believe you mean Hero Designer, the software for character creation. Digital Hero is the name of the online magazine.
Dave Mattingly, Editor of Digital Hero, President of BlackWyrm Games, VP of Christian Gamers Guild, Executive Director of the Games Publishers Association, President of Expressers Toastmasters, Founder of ZirMed Toastmasters, Area 63 Governor for Toastmasters
If you do mean Hero Designer (which I think you do), there is no difference between the ones in the HD and the one available for download.(at right now that is the case).
The reason they are listed for download is so if you want to edit your templates. you do not have to open your jar files and extract them. Plus if you make edits and put them back in the jar file, you can also redownload them if something happens.
I hope that answers your question.
You are both correct I did in fact mean HD not DH, DOOH!!!
And thanks that is exactley what I wanted to know. Now for soem editing....MUHAHAHAHA!
