st barbara
Re: "TaleSpin" as a pulp setting I have been impressed by some of Disney's more recent television cartoons. "Tailspin", "Darkwing Duck", "Ducktales" (all of which have been mentioned) and "Kim Possible" !

Evil Steve
Re: "TaleSpin" as a pulp setting As mentioned in the Wiki entry, seek out what you can for Tales from the Gold Monkey. It was an earlier program (live action) that clearly influenced Talespin. Good reference stuff there. Other than that, I would recommend changing a few names just to get the Funny Animal feel out of it. What I can't figure out is why I can remember that show, but can't remember what I did this morning.
steet
Re: "TaleSpin" as a pulp setting Seems like there are some Talespin fans out there, so : I just wanted to say that if you like it, then check my Talespin fansite. The site includes a section where the original creators of the series (Jymn Magon and Mark Zaslove) answer the questions of the fans, including answers to other Disney Afternoon series! Nothere
Re: "TaleSpin" as a pulp setting Favortite scene. Don Carnage watches the fleeing Seaduck. "Fire at will." The sounds of gunshots and screams direct his attention to the flight deck as someone runs past barely ahead of bullets. Whisper whispers into his ear. "No. Do not fire at Will. Will is my second mate. Fire on the Seaduck." Points dramaticly.
