Rapid Shot and Offensive Shot

Can Rapid shot be used with the Offensive Shot maneuver? What about Rapid Archery with RS and OS?

If I only want to apply the Talent to the one maneuver (OS), how might that be done?

I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to ask for a follow-up with some clarifications before I can answer you.

 

By "Rapid Shot" do you mean the Rapid Fire Combat Maneuver, the Rapid Attack Skill, or something else?

 

By "Offensive Shot" do you mean the Ranged Martial Art Maneuver of that name (UMA 9), the Offensive Strike Martial Maneuver, or something else?

Clarification was posted that:

I will be taking Rapid Archery Talent as well.

 

So, the first question is: can a character Rapid Fire and Offensive Shot attack? The answer is "Yes," per 5ER 396 and at least one answer in the Rules FAQ that discusses the ramifications.

 

Rapid Archery is just Combat Skill Levels with Rapid Fire for bows to cancel out the OCV penalty for firing two arrows. Thus, an answer that applies to Rapid Fire generally would apply to using Rapid Archery specifically.
