Susano
Re: Announcing Kazei 5, Second Edition Long time coming' date=' but definitely worth waiting for.[/quote'] And allow me to stress again, don't be turned off by the words "anime" or "cyberpunk" -- I think the book is packed with stuff for Dark Champions, Champions, Star Hero, and maybe even Post Apocalyptic Hero GMs. There's weapons, armor, robots, super-powers, vehicles, gadgets, and NPCs I'm sure you could easily adopt to other settings. ghost-angel
Re: Announcing Kazei 5, Second Edition I actually don't mind Anime-Cyberpunk myself personally... A-CP doesn't manage to take itself nearly as seriously as American CP tries to. And hey, it's not Shadowrun.

Susano
Re: Announcing Kazei 5, Second Edition *gets a rope* Oh yeah? K5 started out as an attempt to bring SR over to HERO. It sort of... grew... from there.
ghost-angel
Re: Announcing Kazei 5, Second Edition Well thank the Gods for growth. Shadowrun is not cyberpunk. I only reluctantly give it Urban Fantasy because it takes place in the modern era. Shadowrun is Tolkien High Fantasy with a Chrome Finish. IMO, Shadowrun is cyberpunk in the same way Silent Mobius is cyberpunk.
ghost-angel
Re: Announcing Kazei 5, Second Edition However you cut it... from the sneak preview you gave me at GenCon I'm very much looking forward to seeing the full text. From what I saw you got the right mix of Cyberpunk, Anime, and Action.

Susano
Re: Announcing Kazei 5, Second Edition I gave my parents the introduction to read. My mom's reply starts with a phrase I'm starting to hate: "Don't get mad, but..." She then starts talking about how formal writing doesn't use contractions and you don't start sentences with "It." I told her this wasn't formal writing. My dad also said he had little to no idea what I was talking about.
