Nothere
The Gamera series had a great influence on Ikara Takimoto and as an expert chemist he attempted to develop a formula for making giant turtles. He was just about to test his newest version, when a radical environmental group burst in. Freeing his turtle subjects they injected him with several of his formulas. Hey if he was willing to inject his turtles with them... When he woke up he found he could transform into a giant turtle like creature, so carrying his chemical weapons he became Gartule
Lucius
Although there are three characters please count this as one entry; otherwise it's cheating, especially as the whole thing is something I posted previously in another thread. I just thought they could fit in here. Hokusai, Musashi, Hiroshige, and Sotatsu were misfits among Kappa. In all the ponds and rivers of Japan there were no four Kappa less magically adept, less interested in playing cruel and wicked tricks, or more lacking in the traditional Kappa grace and courtesy. Like all Kappa though they did love cucumbers. Curiosity they had in abundance, and they were drawn to the strange folk called Americans, especially the warriors. Their garb tickled their fancy because it was a mottled green just like a Kappa's own shell and hide. One day they were careless and were spotted by an old soldier who had retired. He won their trust by offering them pickles, and they were soon living in the fishpond in his garden. They used their knowledge and skill - for even the least Kappa-like of Kappas has some skill at healing - to ease the pains and incapacities of age, and in return he taught them much. He had been special forces, and such soldiers don't grow old unless they are very good indeed... Now the four are masters of American commando style fighting, along with techniques of stealthy infiltration, escape and evasion, survival and navigation. Special helmets that look like GI issue but have a watertight fit protect their heads and obviate the Kappa's greatest weakness, for if the fluid filling the shallow depression in their skulls spills, they are helpless. "For honor and pickles!" is their battle cry, as they fight against petty criminals, Yakuza gangsters, and bizzarre villains, as The Young Kappa Commandoes! Lucius Alexander The palindromedary thinks I should have given them signature weapons too

Lucius
You mean they are not "Adolescent Misfit Commando Kappas"? I don't know if they care what you call them, as long as you call them when it's time for pickles. He has a fairly good relationship with the Coast Guard. CES
BoloOfEarth
The legal eagle on the team is Tom "Tort" Tuttle, whose power is to make people and things around him incredibly sssllllooooooowww... He is a gifted ADA (assistant district attorney), who dons a turtle-based disguise to bring evildoers to justice. In addition to his no-range slowness field (with personal immunity, naturally), he can project a speed-draining fields onto specific targets at range. - - - - - - - - - I believe that's six (or 9, depending on how you want to count the Kappas), so I'll spring for a new team. Hmmm... it is that season, so why don't we do a spring-based team? Spring Renewal is a team seen as the hippies of the superhero community. Based out of Olympia, Washington, they are all non-violent individuals who nonetheless use their powers to protect innocents, the environment, and freedom of all sorts. Who are these five hippie heroes?
Nothere
Most heroes settle problems by punching bad guys in the face repeatedly. The man known as Antiforce takes the opposite approach. BoloOfEarth
Jennifer Bryzinski is known as Gentle Breeze. She uses her wind powers to fly, restrain foes, extinguish flames, catch falling innocents, and other such non-injurious means. She can also calm the weather, turning a thunderstorm into a gentle rainfall. Her powers are actually much stronger than she exhibits. She can, if she chooses, generate wind blasts powerful enough to punch through walls or toss people around like tenpins. She can also increase the intensity of storms, or generate one out of a clear day. However, it would take quite a lot to rile her to the point where she would do any of that. Normally, she keeps a tight rein on her powers.

death tribble
Flower Power Flora can grow flowers. Big flowers. She can thus create mazes which trap opponents or generate clouds of pollen which can take down almost anything. The flowers can also trip opponents up with their roots. Her negotiation technique is easy. Go away in peace and the flowers go. She can even generate anti-flame resistant pollen which dampens down flame throwers. And you know what giant flowers mean ? Giant insects like wasps and bees. Or swarms of them. Bee afraid. New Team: They say that heroes are squares and that's really true for the heroes of The Quadrilateral. These are four heroes who are often mocked for their stout defence of the law and morals but otherwise they are perfectly normal. They should not be all men or women but they can have any powers or skills. They are not comical but can be mocked as such.
freakboy6117
Fair & Square It's always a fair fight between Farris Courtney and anyone else his strange mutant power evens out his and their natural abilities. So anyone he fights one on one is half as strong as usual while Farris gets the other half. Farris has put a lot of time into training with other superheroes to master their abilities. He has a deep rooted desire for fairness and is always a champion of the underdog the two easy ways to get on his bad side are attacking those weaker than you and unsportsmanlike behavior he will always try to punish those he considers underhanded. death tribble

(Terri has had her powers since she was a teen, but only really started using them when she discovered VIPER was running a Nest out of her library. The nerve! She specialises in solving murders where the victim was killed or attacked with a gun, blade, bludgeon, a household object, a tool or anything that can be used to strangle or garotte someone. She can embody the best or worst excesses of an Agatha Christie or film of the week detective. She is very jubilant most of the time as she looks for clues annoying the authorities, her team mates and suspects in equal measure. However if anyone mentions the adult entertainment adaptation of the game Clue or any of the people in it she goes off the deep end snarling like an alley cat.
