The sea mammal known as Delphinius is a dolphin who gained hyper-intelligence and psionic/telekinetic powers from a US Navy experiment. He escaped captivity and does what he can to help keep the oceans and waterways clean. He can throw equations and mathematical formula which manifest in the air causing people to panic as they did not expect the math. They can stop fights and paralyse the minds of those who failed maths (particularly). He has since devoted his expertise to developing gadgets that will stop those who want to bring about the end of the world. He now actively seeks those trying to jump start the end of the world and bring them to book. He is also in touch with various heroes and organisations who look to avert the end of the world. He does not seek to perfect his art nor to defeat the strongest fighters in different styles, he instead seeks to stop the end of the world by defeating those who wish to bring it about. He is particularly concerned with those who might use the Ring of Fire to cause mass destruction. He has become aware of a group who wish to ascend through their use of great forces and that one or more of them wish to use the Ring of Fire to destroy the world. Terry Hauptmann USMC volunteered for an experimental super-soldier program. the process implanted an advanced ultra compact super computer linked to hardwired reflex enhancements and cybernetic sensory upgrades. the process was extremely successful he became with his super human reflexes and the implanted computers ability to process data giving him both a tactical and strategic ability. It was Captain Terra whose computer skill allowed him to figure out a 'language' of bursts of varying frequencies of light with which they could understand each other. Having found an intelligence with which it can communicate, it is learning what it can assimilate about the human species. It has no concept of war as such, though it does understand violence and greed, and helps its new acquaintances in order to be able to learn more from them. As for other intentions, who can know what motivates a completely alien being? From Brazil comes the sensuous dancer Carnaval, who uses dance to enhance her powers which entrance onlookers and are a minor form of hypnosis. She has been trained in the martial arts mainly to avoid combat. She received her powers when the Rio carnival was attacked and became a battleground, She was caught in the crossfire and ended up in hospital. When she recovered she found that she had powers. She is now a star performer during the carnival celebrations although she is not tied to a particular school or organisation in order to avoid charges of favouritism. He is also a dab hand with a bolas. He is a front line fighter but he is also an expert in unorthodox combat. He teamed up with Carnaval to take down opponents using the tango for example. New Team: The Indian subcontinent was in need of a team of heroes as the Chinese are in Tibet and can't really be trusted and the Russians could easily go back into Afghanistan and other surrounding countries. The Boxing Day tsunami was the straw that broke the camel's back. The team operate across Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bangladesh but they have crossed into Burma much to the annoyance of the military there. A minimum of 5 members and a maximum of 15. There should be one elephant and one tiger based member despite the fact that we already have Miss Ganesha elsewhere. There should be a minimum of one Hindu, one Muslim and one Buddhist member. The Lion of India It is not well known but there are lions in India and thus we have the were-creature (or so it is assumed) The Lion of India. Some believe that this is some sort of throwback to British Imperialism as the Lion is a heraldic device of the British Crown. It does not help that LOI speaks in a perfect upper crust English accent. He is never seen outside his lion identity causing people to believe he was blessed or cursed by the gods. He is a medium level brick who has contacts across the sub-continent and across social strata. He is well versed in unarmed and armed combat. He also speaks all the languages of India (Hindi, Urdu, Bengali, Konkani, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Kashmiri, Rajasthani, Sindi, Assamese, Maithili and Ordia. Pashto from Pakistan, Tamil and Sinhalese from Sri Lanka, Nepali from Nepal as well as English, French and Portugese are the other languages he understands.
