death tribble
When you think of alien warriors you tend to think of Quasar or Firewing. Then there is Silver Angel. This being has been called an intelligent metal. It can appear as a man or a woman changing their features seemingly at will. It manifests wings. It communicates via telepathy and has learned sign language. Its features can flow like a liquid but unlike mercury, the Silver Angel is not poisonous. It has learned some form of martial arts and prefers to disable an opponent rather than maim or kill one. At rest it assumes a blank humanoid shape devoid of features. Hermit
Vulgarian- A rather handsome humanoid with cat like eyes , only a slight face ridge with powers of light manipulation, Vulgarian is built for attention. In more ways that people know- for his power channels excess psychic emotional energy around him to add to his power! The more emotions around him, and not from himself, the more powerful his photokinetic abilities become. So he showboats to please crowds, provokes his foes to anger them, and more! The calmer his opponents the less effective he is, but get him in a crowd of hundreds and his abilities become truly frightening! Of course, the down side is to this is he can end up endangering the very crowds he often relies on. Amorkca
Badger
Despondor Despondor, is an extremely powerful telekinetic/mentalist type. Resembling a classic gray (except pale blue colored). Telekinesis, telepathy, mind reading, astral projection, and other abilities. His body is frail, so he tries to stay on the periphery of the battle area as possible (generally the farthest place where he can still use his powers to its fullest extent. Edit: while he can as a last resort, he shies away from mind control. While he has never really gone into it, he has vaguely mentioned only the morally bankrupt of his people use that power regularly.

death tribble
Koldar, the Many Armed This is the brick of the team. It has no face but many arms which it can create or disappear as it wills. Among humans it takes the form of a titan. It never manifests more than two legs although mush to the disturbance of some of its opponents it can produce arms from its legs. Similarly it can do this with its torso. It was thought that only Silver Angel and Despondor could communicate with Koldar due to their mental abilities but this has proved to be untrue for Koldar can 'talk' with all of his colleagues through some sort of mindlink. It cannot communicate with anyone else except mentalists who initiate telepathy with it. Sundog
Medea Penelope Martin served in the British Army as a biologist, chemist and specialist in chemical warfare. She came up with a number of neutralizing agents to protect British troops, but found her work sidelined by lesser scientists working on more "sexy" technologies. She came up with a harness that enabled her to analyse, break down and neutralise chemical agents in the field, in minutes. But in field trials, she was set upon by a French super-soldier...whom she promptly kicked the butt of, after her harness enabled her to shut down his enhanced strength and speed. The British Army balked at building more of the auto-labs (the one she had cost well over a million pounds), so she has worked as a freelance hero-for-hire since, learning not only how to shut down many opponents, but also to create "boosters" that made her own capabilities temporarily superhuman. She called herself Medea after the doctor, oracle and sorceress of Greek myth, and when the Grecians came calling she joined in a trice. death tribble
Judge Ollorf This member of the team is religious and lawful. He fights for the poor and downtrodden and is especially keen to ensure that no-one abuses their power. He is shy around women. New Team: The Anti-Magic Society This team found that they had just cause, the destruction of those who used magic, claimed magical abilities or who were descended from magical beings or people who used magic. In reality they were manipulated by The Sophia who used them as cannon fodder. Their greatest achievement was the dismantling of The Patriarch's organisation as they battled and killed or dispelled all the magical beings who aided this mastermind. However some escaped them. Two women and one man. And their cousin. The problem was the cousin was Visgoth and the man was Dr Nymax! And these are all descended from The Sybll who was more than a little bit put out that extended members of her family had been killed and that the rest were being hunted. So she set about manipulating events to bring the Anti-Magic Society down. Your mission should you choose to accept it is this Detail one member of the society who can be man or woman. Detail how they came to join the society (manipulated by The Sophia) and their ultimate fate (they do not have to have been killed). 5 members The Patriarch was taken down in the early 90s in a battle outside New York City. The Society took down Nymax's brothers, sisters and other close family half relatives so that they could not join and defend The Patriarch

death tribble
Charles Prail came from a religious background and operated as the spiritual centre of the team. He had the power of faith which protected him and others from the forces of evil He lead the attack on the demon Manon who was actually Dr Nymax!'s brother and with other members of the team destroyed it forever. Although they managed to wipe out the evil members of the Patriarch's family, he joined with other members of the Society who vowed to track down and destroy the last remnants of the Patriarch's brood. He reasoned better safe than sorry. And this was a fatal mistake. For although the Sophia had aided and protected the Anti Magic Society she no longer needed them and left then to their fate. It took time and research but eventually Charles and several of the team left to ambush a target who was linked to the Patriarch. While this was correct unfortunately this person had no magical ability or connection to the dark realms. What he did have was his father's tactical ability and a thirst for revenge against those who had contributed indirectly to his father's downfall. The fact that they were also after his cousin Dr Nymax! sealed their fate. The power of faith is not that effective against muscle or powers that is not enhanced by magic. Charles was surprised and horrified that the Society's attacks and powers had no effect on Visgoth and his Enforcers. The team were handily defeated but not slaughtered. However Visgoth made an example of Charles. He beat him to within an inch of his life breaking the bones in his limbs before throwing him face down into the river leading to Charles's death
Sundog
Clair Deswell was a hereditary sorceress, the scion of a family of white magic sorceresses, passed through the maternal line. Her ability to bind mystic creatures, create protective circles and counter darker magics was a huge advantage in the fight against the Patriarch. Clair was requested to join the Anti Magic Society by her aunt, the Sorceress Madeline Snow, to infiltrate them and determine if they posed a threat to the family. (Unknown to Clair, or any member of the current generation, Madeline is actually the immortal sorceress Circe of Greek myth, and the ultimate progenitor of her line). To do so, Clair disguised her abilities as folk remedies and "old wisdom." The other members saw this as close to magic, but accepted her help given the advantages she offered, especially when she claimed that magicians were responsible for the death of her parents and brother (a lie - they'd died in a simple car crash years before). After the destruction of the Patriarch, Clair reported to Madeline that the organisation truly was a threat. Madeline arranged a number of members of the family, a few magical mercenaries, and Clair, and was prepared to destroy their problem...when someone else did the job for them. Disturbed, Madeline spirited Clair to her "hideaway", a shrouded island in the Aegean Sea, where she waits and trains while "Aunt Madeline" investigates the situation. Dr Nymax! and Visgoth are disturbed that "Clair Bosworth" has disappeared, but The Sybill isn't commenting. Mainly because she knows who Madeline really is. death tribble
The Sophia would not go up against Circe either. Richard Ashworth was a fanatical member of the Society who came to believe it was his destiny to destroy all beings of magical origin. He dd not care if they 'claimed' to fight for good or chose not to get involved. They all needed to be removed. And it was his bigoted nature that lead to his downfall. While with the Society he had the protection and support of the others they would overlook his overzealousness. It served them well when they took down demons and devils and halfbreed children of the lower realms. Not so much against druids and wiccans. Richard actually discovered the full family tree of The Patriarch and that it was The Patriarch's brother whose line contained the most magical potential. He was appalled to learn that three children of said brother had escaped the hunt. One was Dr Nymax! and the other two were his sisters. They had no involvement in the family business and indeed had distanced themselves from it. That was no excuse for Richard and he narrowed down one suspect as her daughter, Katya, did not seem to age. He set out to remove these two and planned to interrogate them to find the last sister. One thing Dr Nymax! is, despite his affiliation with evil, and that is his loyalty and protection of his sisters and their families. He had precognition woven around any threats to them and their kin. So he was warned in advance of Richard's intentions and baited a trap for him. Richard made the mistake of not communicating his findings and carrying with him all the evidence he collected. So when he tried to abduct a woman he found it was a shapeshifter and then Dr Nymax! appeared who beat Richard with science and gadgets. The good doctor then handed Richard over to The Fae who had a score to settle with Mr Ashworth for all the members of their number who he had maimed or killed. And that was the last anyone ever saw of him. The evidence was destroyed and The Fae have placed misdirection on anyone trying to find out what happened Amorkca
