quozaxx
Has anyone out there bought this rpg besides me? Do you like it? Do you have players?
tkdguy
I have a copy of the 10th Doctor version, which my friends gave me for Christmas. I downloaded the 11th Doctor upgrade. I only played it once, but I like the system. It's a lot more streamlined than FASA's system, and it captures the feel of the show.
quozaxx
I agree. I hope it catches on. I have the 11th Doctor version. BTW: I love the First Doctor Sourcebook.
tkdguy
Cool. I would buy the sourcebooks, including UNIT (my favourite) but I don't play often enough to spend the cash for them.
culhwch
I have both the 10th & 11th Doctor versions and all the sourcebooks. Not sure if I like the mechanics enough to play it, though.
Ninja-Bear
Do you play an established Doctor or can you play a Time Lord?
dmjalund
Do you play an established Doctor or can you play a Time Lord?I think the Time Travellers Companion allows you to do this
culhwch
Do you play an established Doctor or can you play a Time Lord?Correct, The Time Travelers Companion is all about making Time Lord characters (and building TARDISes if you happen to not want a stock model). quozaxx
I wish I had the Time Travelers Companion. But, I'll have to put it on my Christmas list.
rjcurrie
For those that don't know, the Fifth Doctor Sourcebook has been written by former Hero Games president Darren Watts.
quozaxx
They are already on the Fifth Doctor Sourcebook? That's great! I only have the First Doctor Sourcebook right now!
tkdguy
I don't think the Fifth Doctor Sourcebook has been released already. Here's a thread about the progress of the different sourcebooks: Link
