death tribble
This is the one I have been dreading all year and thankfully it is the last. I put this upto a vote and this was the one that became the 12th choice. So we will stat a base. First of all, who uses the base ? Secondly, where is it ? Logan D. Hurricanes
I assumed it was a base for the characters that you've been building all year. If it could be for someone else, then I vote for their arch enemy, the mad genius _______________!

death tribble
Having checked the book the following are stats for the base Size, Body, PD and ED In order to come up with these we need to consider how many rooms and floors the base has and what defences, powers etc it may have. So if it is a Hero base and well known then it would have perhaps a reception area and a receptionist. Conversely the same is true for a villain base. The villain may have a secretary who will not let you pass as you do not have an appointment, you have insufficient police powers or your warrent is invalid. While I am away please lob in ideas for rooms including whether the heroes/villains sleep on the base.
Hermit
Base Name: The Lighthouse! "First of all, who uses the base ?": The Lighthouse is used by a team of six superheroes Atlantis Jack C.O.R.E. Knave Mr. Behemoth Shadow-Drake Weave "Secondly, where is it ?" The Lighthouse is located on 'Terra Island' named after Doctor Terra, the villain who sought to reshape the bedrock of the city years ago. The Earth mover device was cast by the heroes into the sea which caused a new island to form. While there was flooding, the damage and loss of life would have been 100 times worse if not for the heroes doing so. The heroes were handed the land by a grateful city and encouraged to build a base there. They made one, based on designs similar to the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria. "In order to come up with these we need to consider how many rooms and floors the base has and what defences, powers etc it may have." The base consists of a bedroom for each hero, two guest rooms besides as far as living quarters are concerned. There is a main meeting and monitor area, a shared kitchen and dining area, a trophy room, and three labs, one of which is rumored to be more mystical than scientific in nature. The Lighthouse actually does have light coming out of its top, and the source of said illumination is unknown to most civilians. It has been noted that when the city is in extreme danger, that light goes red. In a sign of superhumor, there are robotic sharks that protect and patrol the waters near the island from unwanted intrusions, and yes, they have 'freaking lasers' though their main underwater weapons are sonic in nature. Despite looking like it is made of limestone, the building material is actually far stronger than steel. Topside defenses include mulitple cameras on the island and alarms mostly to alert the heroes that someone has made it this far. It is said that one or two 'net traps' have been set up. "Receptionist"- On an island as it is, the base is not intended to be open to public tours. However, a woman known by the initials D.W handles calls, and acts as something of a tourguide for those few visitors that are approved. DW is NOT her real name but rather a code name to help protect her own private life a little. It stands for "Does the Work" though only she and the hero team knows that. Just what her connection with any members of the team or how much if anything they pay her is unknown by the general public and facial recognition programs used on her have come up empty. death tribble
Well this is certainly unique. I will go away and do some reading and see what we can do stat wise. Thanks Hermit that is novel.
Hermit
Glad you think it's novel, I was worried it came across as presumptuous on my part. Still, I figured if you wanted you could take what you like (or ignore it entirely) and just move on
death tribble
I would say that this costs 10 points on the location table for being distant from the city. I would rule that it is not floating on water as that would be something different
