Pattern Ghost
And Barry may begin a relationship with Arrow's Felicity Smoak. Nah, IMO they were laying that one to rest.

death tribble
One of the people helping the Flash is potentially Killer Frost ? Oh my stars and garters. And have we already met the Reverse Flash ?
FrankL
Got to watch the second episode tonight. Enjoyed it. I've never kept up with Flash in the comics, so this is all coming new to me. Thanks, Ternaugh, AdBlockerPlus has made the show watchable.
Hermit
One of the people helping the Flash is potentially Killer Frost ? Oh my stars and garters. And have we already met the Reverse Flash ? Potentially, though it's possible she won't become Killer Frost for a few seasons if ever. Indeed, Cisco may never become Vibe. Still nice to meet the characters I think. And as for Reverse Flash I'm pretty sure we saw RF killing Barry's mom as a yellow blur. And both Joe's partner/Iris' boyfriend and a certain wheelchair using professor are in the running. As there was more than one Reverse Flash, we may eventually have both! BoloOfEarth
My thanks to all of you for recommending this show. I finally watched it last night - at least the first 3 episodes - and enjoyed it very much. Made sure to recommend it to my daughter away at college. I found it amusing that one of Flash's "sidekicks" is played by the same actress that played the plant-controlling "sidekick" from Sky High. Sorry, "Hero Support." BoloOfEarth
So I was thinking about Harrison Wells last night. Just wondering if his middle name starts with "G". Logan D. Hurricanes and BlueCloud2k2
Logan D. Hurricanes
I wanted this show to be good in the worst way. And it is definitely a show in the worst way. "Plastique" was my last episode. I'm very sad.

That's said- You're a big meanie head I frickin laughed out lough at the "You didn't think this through, did you?" line regarding the boomerang
Logan D. Hurricanes
It has some great moments, and I'm really enjoying Tom Cavanaugh in it, but between explaining the references to my mother I'm just cringing from the dialogue. It's so infected with CW Angst™ that it hurts me. It's like my kryptonite. But I'm still watching Occult Dr. Who Constantine.
BoloOfEarth
I've been rather enjoying the show, to the point that I half-forced my wife and oldest daughter to watch the first four episodes last night. They both enjoyed it quite a bit.

Lawnmower Boy
Took me a while to catch up with "Plastique," but I wanted to point out that at the end, Flash carries the giant bomb out of False Creek, out towards open water, then turns back past Stanley Park, under the Lions Gate Bridge, and into the harbour for the giant explosion. This TV show is dead to me! Other than that, we finally had some lived-in moments from Caitlin and Cisco, and it looks like we're getting Grod! This sequence from "Con Air" would require the plane to teleport and change directions multiple times.
BoloOfEarth
I finally got to see "Plastique" yesterday. Overall, I liked it, except that Barry's and Iris's interactions that episode seemed to be getting progressively infected with "teh Stupid." This sequence from "Con Air" would require the plane to teleport and change directions multiple times. Yes, but Las Vegas is a nightmare landscape of nerve-shattering, blinding casino lights and giant handlebar mustaches, whereas Vancouver is the most beautiful place that has ever deigned to let human feet tread its soil. It's different. Ternaugh

Lord Mhoram
Boxing Glove Arrow. I've loved the show, but since it started I wondered if they were going to have a boxing glove arrow. They did. The show started with a "Longbow Hunters" tone, and has worked itself up to Bronze. I've loved it.
Hermit
Saw the latest Flash. Man, I love this show. "The Flash is born" had a few things I wanted to nitpick... one danger is they might be falling into the classic "Just go faster and you win" trap. That can lead to a power creep that could paint them into a corner if they don't put some checks on it. Frankly, I was expecting Barry to get a magnet trap for the villain. That said The scene of the flying supersonic punch was so awesome I forgive it and then some Also, while it's perfectly understandable to want to gloat, do NOT tell the villain who just threatened your love interest who the hell you are. Just don't. One VERY disturbing thing Ok. I'm as much for being able to hold the bad guys as the next person, but uh... due process? It does not reflect well on our hero to have him perfectly okay with unlawful detainment seemingly forever Those concerns aside.... damn, this was good. Iris boxing? Meh. Iris hitting the alarm? Excellent! She did not huddle in a corner screaming, she out thought her captor. And the scene at the end with Det. West was... surprisingly chilling. Nolgroth
And just like comics, there's going to be a crossover event "Arrow vs The Flash." Pretty soon the entire DC pantheon is going to be doing crossovers and you have to buy all the issues just to keep up with how Wonder Woman and Martian Manhunter defeating their Big Bad sets up a ripple effect with Green Lantern and Arrow having to outsmart a demonically possessed Lex Luther. Damn this gets expensive. Oh wait. There are only two shows and I watch them both anyway. Still felt good to get that crossover rant out. Been sitting there for a couple of decades. FrankL
My wife likes this show. It's the romance angle between Barry and Iris. Of course, she also said, "He should have gone for Felicity. Take the sure bet. I mean, who wears their little black dress to trivia night?" So tonight we were talking about "The Flash is Born" after watching it. She's not much into sci-fi otherwise (this is 14 years in progress). With what I think is being set up to happen (though it could be a red herring, I admit), I was having to explain the trousers of time to her tonight. Yeah, my bad. Shouldn't have gone there. I'm now hoping they don't go that way. She said she couldn't suspend her disbelief that much. And that would be tragic if she didn't want to watch the show with me.
