MrAgdesh
Playing around with a character who generates Gates (just FYI this is under 5th, although the only difference I see with 6th is the change from Continuous to Constant as a Duration Advantage) I think I have it right; If I take Area Effect 1 Hex, I also need Usable Simultaneously (by however many people I want to be able to go through at once) and Extra Mass if any of them exceed 'average', right? Incidentally anyone know of any write-ups of Marvel's Blink and Cloak? Thanks in advance.
massey
Well, from watching X-Men: Days of Future Past, Blink has one of the big no-no powers. Missile Reflection vs any target, Usable at Range, which you can't buy in Hero.
Hawksmoorreturns
Reasoning from effect you could go with Barrier/Force Wall instead.
massey
Not really the way it plays out in the movie. It's Missile Reflection, with enemies shooting at her friends across the room, which she then reflects so that it shoots a different enemy in the back. Very cool power, explicitly prohibited in Hero. dmjalund
i never liked power prohibition, one should be able to buy anything you want as long as you are willing to pay enough points
Ninja-Bear
Massey I believe then one should invoke principal #4 "just because its illegal doesn't mean you can't buy it (with gm permission)". I looked at other ways to simulate reflect at range and well they were too clunky.
Cassandra
Teleport Megascale Fixed Location No END Persistent Only from Fixed Location would allow anyone to use it. You could had a limitation only works for those with proper ID (or team communicator)
Cantriped
You don't need usable Simultaneously because number of targets is covered by Area of Effect. If you use the Usable as Attack instead of Usable on Others, than you don't need Increased Mass; because attack teleportation doesn't care how much the targets weigh and anything entering the area of effect would be Attacked by the power automatically (even passengers inside of vehicles, and people/objects being carried by other people). bigbywolfe
Not really the way it plays out in the movie. Its being "explicitly prohibited" is one of the few things in Hero I will say is straight up stupid. It should be a Stop Sign Power, nothing more. You could use the space wasted to say you can't do it to emphasize why it's a risky ability to allow.
Ninja-Bear
Side rail but in fifth you can't have leaping usuable against others that's what tk is for. Huh? (Scrathes head)
