BhelliomRahl
I have just finished Larry Correia's Hard Magic, Book 1 of the Grimnoir Chronicles. Setting: Around 1850 (1st record case) people started to develop magical abilities - one specific power. This has changed the worlds development and altered global powers. It is now the 1930s and the world is on the brink of greater change. It is a worthwhile and enjoyable read. My point for mentioning it is that it seems like an interesting setting with a lot of potential development. I have been considering writing a game based on it for my club. However with Monster Hunter International on the market I was wondering what the possibility of The Grimnoir Chronicles being written as a setting book? I would be interested what other people think. csyphrett
It's a good setting with things like Berlin being a walled off city full of Zombies after WW1 and various mad scientist inventions in place like Tesla's Peace Ray and Edison's Necrophone. I doubt that anyone other than fans would write it up for use as a game, but it has been done for other settings CES
